Dedicated to Small Business Success

Small businesses are the backbone of the American economy. A recent Office of Advocacy Report shows 99% of America’s employers are small businesses.

Small and young companies:
  • Create two thirds of the net new jobs in our economy
  • Employ half of all private-sector workers
  • Create two of every three new jobs
  • Produce 39% of the gross national product
  • Invent more than half the nation's technological innovation
Small business owners face a lot of challenges. The SBA and other government agencies recognize that small businesses are disadvantaged compared to large corporations in providing health care for their employees. No one doubts that the high cost of health insurance is a serious burden on small businesses, even a threat to their existence. But, the ramifications of this disadvantage go far beyond immediate monetary costs. It impacts their ability to attract highly skilled employees who recognize the value of a comprehensive benefit package and therefore tend to prefer employment with large corporations.

The cost of Internet marketing is quickly out pacing the ability of small businesses to pay for it. The internet has become dominated by large companies, primarily search engines, that now require businesses to pay for choice postions on keyword search returns. Pay-by-click fees can be astronomical for popular keywords.

When I first started my own business I went through $2000 in less than two weeks using Overture to bid on a keyword that gave me 2nd position in the return list. And I'm always hearing small business owners complain about how expensive it's become to use internet services, like eBay, that once helped them to grow their businesses, but that are now becoming too costly to use.

This system doesn't benefit small businesses or consumers. Companies that can afford such high marketing costs probably aren't offering the most competative prices to consumers. Nor can consumers locate small businesses in a their local area through keyword searches alone.

We offer consumers and small businesses a better solution.
